UP Tacloban’s Ugnayan ng Pahinungod volunteers held the second wave of UPCAT information sessions

UP Tacloban’s Ugnayan ng Pahinungod volunteers held the second wave of UPCAT information sessions, reaching over 1,300 Grade 11 students from underserved areas in Leyte, Eastern Samar, Samar, and Northern Samar. On March 21–22, sessions in Pastrana, Leyte included orientations, an academic refresher, and a mock test. The school-to-school campaign continued on March 25–26, covering several schools across Leyte and Eastern Samar, including a virtual session for over 100 students in Daram, Samar.
The campaign concluded in early April with in-person visits to schools in Sta. Margarita and Gandara, Samar, and a final virtual session, engaging over 300 more students from Samar and Northern Samar.
Applications for UPCAT 2026 closed on 14 April, with school confirmations due by 25 April.
