UP Tacloban College, through the Division of Humanities and the Leyte Samar Heritage Center, joins the nation in celebrating National Arts Month with a series of talks, workshops, and cultural events this February 2026.

All are invited to Paglamrag 2025, the lighting of the Christmas lanterns at the Oblation signaling the start of the Christmas season at the UP Tacloban campus.

UP Tacloban joins the nationwide 18-Day Campaign to End Violence Against Women (VAW), which begins today, 25 November, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women and National Consciousness Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women and Children, and ends on 12 December, the International Day Against Trafficking.

The UP Tacloban Children’s University will be launched on 20 November 2025, International Children’s Day, with a disaster preparedness workshop for Grade 4 pupils from public schools in Tacloban City titled “Initiating Resilience through Art and Youth Action (IRAYA): Linog, Bagyo ug Daluyong.”
