UP Tacloban’s Political Science program and student organization UP Politikons participated in the 2025 PSPA-EROPA Joint International Conference on 1-3 October 2025. The event, themed “Public Administration in the Age of Populism, Polycrisis, and Technological Transformation,” gathered local and international scholars, practitioners, and students, including representatives from Eastern Visayas state universities and colleges (SUCs).
Conference sessions tackled pressing governance concerns, including the impact of populism on public administration, challenges posed by technological change, and responses to overlapping crises. UPTC faculty from the Political Science and Economics programs served as panel moderators, while UP Politikons assisted as the conference secretariat. UPTC students likewise participated in paper presentations.
