UP Tacloban’s Karit Anyag 2025 brings Photography, Visual Arts, and Siday Writing to Basey

On 26 February 2025, UP Tacloban’s Division of Humanities, in collaboration with UP Ideopraxist and the UP Tacloban Ugnayan ng Pahinungod, held the Karit Anyag Art Workshop 2025 at Basey National High School.
Around 100 Special Program for the Arts (SPA) students of Basey National High School attended the lecture-workshops on photography, visual arts, and siday writing with writer and translator Firie Jill Ramos, filmmaker and media arts instructor Jericho Sandino Aliposa, and visual artist Archimedes Prisno as resource persons.
Part of the series of activities organized by the Division of Humanities in celebration of National Arts Month 2025, Karit Anyag aims to cultivate artistic expression and celebrate Eastern Visayan culture and heritage.
