On 26 April 2024, Pahinungód coordinator Assoc. Prof. Ervina Espina led an UPCAT orientation in Pastrana, Leyte for Grade 11 students of Juan Villablanca Memorial High School, Macalpi-ay National High School, and Manaybanay National High School.
On 2 May 2024, faculty volunteers from UP Tacloban’s Division of Humanities and Division of Social Sciences visited 18 public senior high schools in the western parts of Leyte and Southern Leyte. Around 480 Grade 11 students from the municipalities of Palompon, Isabel, Tabango, Sogod, Silago, and Hinunangan attended the UPCAT information sessions.
