On 1 October 2025, Alpha Phi Omega – Theta Zeta (APO-TZ) Chapter Grand Chancellor Francis Shay Shamir G. Monge and Grand Lady Chancellor Jude Ann Karylle L. Cañanes turned over a Php 15,000 donation to UP Tacloban College (UPTC) in support of the college’s student athletes participating in the State Colleges and Universities Athletic Association (SCUAA) regional meet.

 

The donation was received by Dean Patricia Arinto at a brief turnover ceremony witnessed by Associate Dean for Academic Affairs John Paul Yusiong, UPTC Sports Coordinator Michael Joshua Lora, and UP Tacloban Foundation, Inc. (UPTFI) Executive Director Ruth Edisel Rylle Sadian-Cercado.

 

The donation is part of funds raised by APO-TZ through the Mister & Miss Sportsfest 2025 held in April this year.
