Tacloban College opens its celebration of National Arts Month with a symposium on translation featuring a book talk by Professor Emeritus Merlie Alunan on translating Ester Tapia’s poetry collection “Húbad.” The talk will be held on Wednesday, 12 February, 1:30 PM at the Leyte Samar Heritage Center. “Húbad” won as Best Translated Book in English in the recent National Book Awards.
