In celebration of Ugnayan ng Pahinungód’s 31st founding anniversary, Pahinungód Tacloban organized a public service caravan on 15 February 2025 at Brgy. 107, Sta. Elena, Tacloban City.
The program provided free legal aid, medical services, a dance workshop, and mental health and psychosocial support activities for over 90 residents—including children, youth, barangay officials, and elders of Brgy. Sta. Elena, one of Pahinungód Tacloban’s adopted communities.
This initiative is part of UP Tacloban’s ongoing UP<3ME UP Loves Municipality Empowerment public service program, which promotes literacy development, psychosocial welfare, and community development, particularly for underserved and marginalized communities in Region 8.
Ugnayan ng Pahinungód Tacloban thanks the UP Tacloban alumni legal and medical practitioners, Kaibigan ng Pahinungód volunteers, BA Psychology faculty, the Health Services Unit, Step UP, and Pahinungód student volunteers for dedicating their time and expertise in making this public service caravan possible.
