On 26 April 2024, Pahinungód coordinator Assoc. Prof. Ervina Espina led an UPCAT orientation in Pastrana, Leyte for Grade 11 students of Juan Villablanca Memorial High School, Macalpi-ay National High School, and Manaybanay National High School.

UP Tacloban faculty, staff, and students held simultaneous UPCAT information sessions for Grade 11 students in eight public high schools in Caibiran, Naval, and Biliran and 21 public high schools in the municipalities of Paranas, Motiong, and San Jorge in Samar; Taft, Dolores, and San Policarpo in Eastern Samar; and Laoang and Catubig in Northern Samar.
