Pukrat, Ato, Kabataan! 3: Self-Defense Training for Out-of-School Youth

Twenty-three (23) out-of-school youth from Brgy. 101, New Kawayan participated in UP Tacloban’s Pukrat, Ato, Kabataan! 3: Self-Defense Training for Out-of-School Youth held on 22 March 2025 at Brgy. New Kawayan gymnasium.
Physical Education instructor Ms. Jackyline Pobre taught striking and blocking techniques in arnis while Ms. Kristelle Yvonne Anne M. Melgazo, bronze medalist in the Flyweight Kyorugi Senior Women’s Taekwondo Tournament in the 2023 SCUAA Regional Meet, demonstrated basic taekwondo.
Now on its third year, PAK is part of UP Tacloban’s celebration of National Women’s Month spearheaded by the Gender and Development Program.
