2nd Oikonomia Forum Explores the Emotional Economics of OFW Remittances

The second of UP Tacloban’s Oikonomia forum series was held on 25 February 2025 at the AS Conference Hall with a talk by Dr. Jeremiah M. Opiniano, Director of the Research Center for Social Sciences and Education of the University of Santo Tomas, on the impact of OFW remittances on local economies.
The yearlong Oikonomia forum series, which covers emerging economic concepts and issues, is organized by UP Tacloban’s BS Economics program.
