UP Tacloban Ugnayan ng Pahinungód provided psychological first aid

Volunteers from the UP Tacloban Ugnayan ng Pahinungód provided psychological first aid to the children of Typhoon Tino-stricken Barangay Hingatungan in Silago, Southern Leyte on 29 November 2025. About a hundred children participated in psychosocial counseling conducted by student, faculty, staff, and alumni volunteers.
The children’s families also received relief packs through the support of Oplan Kaagapay of the UP System Ugnayan ng Pahinungód, Padayon UP Public Service Office, and JCI Burauen Burabod, and donors who responded to the donation drive launched by the UP Tacloban Ugnayan ng Pahinungód in the aftermath of Typhoon Tino.
